The sale of nomination forms for Vidarbha Hockey Association’s elections was held on Wednesday at Deputy Charity Commissioner’s office of Civil Lines. According to election officer Harish Gadge 52 nomination forms were sold.
Incumbent members, fighting this election under VHA Development Panel’s banner, purchased 20 nomination forms while Sadar group (Hockey Lovers Panel), who are still in talks with Triloki Nath Sidhra (Hockey Promoters Panel), purchased 16 forms. Sidhra confidants Shyam Sharma and Kishor Goydani purchased 10 forms while affiliated unit member Sanjay Lokhande (2), life members Shiv Singh Rathore (3) and Kanhaiyya Fulsunge (1) were the others who purchased the forms.
Candidates can submit their nomination forms on Friday (November 7). The scrutiny of forms and display of valid contestants name will be held on November 8 while withdrawal and display of final list of contestants will be held on November 9. The elections for 13 posts will be held on November 16.
